Hello, I am trying to sell a house and transfer a deed wherein CIT group finance inc. should have been named as the grantor on the deed. It was signed Aug. 23, 2000 by Rick Lewellen V.P. His name is on the grantor line instead of CIT Group (as though he were owner instead of CIT Group) which is a paper error that I need corrected before I can sell the house. I need contact information for someone who can legally sign for CIT Group and help to correct my deed so I can sell. I will give that information to the lawyer who closed at the time to contact that person so this 17 year old paper error can be corrected and I can finally sell. Please advise me as to whom I may contact for that information. Thank you for your help.

When I applied for a duplicate title I found that Cit Group was still listed as having a lean on my boat that was paid off in 2002. I would also like to know how to contact this company.

I purchased a boat that was financed by "The CIT Group/Sales Financing, Inc." beginning January 9, 1996. Both the boat and it's trailer were paid off in July of 1996. You did send me a "Satisfaction of Lien" for the boat, but I never received a release of lien for the trailer. I am in the process of selling the boat and trailer and applied for titles for both the boat and the trailer and was informed by the state that The CIT GROUP still has a lien on both. Upon showing them a copy of the "Satisfaction of Lien" the state was willing to remove the lien on the boat, but they won't release the lien on the trailer. I have been trying to call your company, but it appears that you do not accept calls and you do not list an email address. I need you to release the lien. How can I contact you?

I purchased an RV in April 1997. I paid off the RV shortly after I purchased it and never received a LIEN RELEASE. I am trying to sell my RV now and cannot do so without the LIEN RELEASE.
I see this is a recurring issue with CIT GROUP. I am hoping to hear back from someone regarding my lien release within the week.

I work for a title company in Wichita Falls, Texas and our seller has paid off their manufactured home years ago, but the lien still shows outstanding to Cit Financial Services. We recently sent a Certified Mail with Return Receipt Requested and someone at the company signed for it by the name of Sonia Byers on April 25, 2016. It is imperative that we get this released so the buyer can get a Statement of Ownership and Location on the manufactured home whereas it will become real estate. Without this they cannot get a loan to buy the property. I enclosed the Form B Release of Lien with my letter. Please help. The phone number for this company does not work.
